Edison Preparatory School is unique within the Tulsa Public Schools System as it serves students grades 6 through 12 ensuring a well articulated and challenging curriculum for its diverse student body. Located on 44 acres in the heart of Tulsa since 1954, Edison is geared towards academic excellence, student achievement, and making positive contributions to the community.

Edison is designed as a college preparatory high school that serves students with varied abilities in an academically rigorous environment that is geared towards preparing students for college and career readiness. Advanced Placement (AP) courses are the cornerstone of the magnet program and Edison has the unique distinction of offering the AP Capstone Diploma. Edison is repeatedly recognized by the Washington Post as one of the state’s premier high schools. The school features an excellent world language program including American Sign Language, Chinese, French, Latin, Spanish, fine arts, and leadership opportunities providing students with a comprehensive educational experience. For several years, major universities and colleges have actively recruited Edison Preparatory students.
